not because the raters are bad at judging faces, but because everyone already knows the person's reputation before they rate them

put an unknown face in front of the same people and you'll get a completely different result than if they know it's some famous 7PSL guy

same shit with forum users

once someone gets a high rating / reputation, people start seeing what they're supposed to see

if u genuinely disagree explain why reputation doesn't influence ratings
