There was a rollback to fix the images & attachments issues. Moderators cannot change your AVI we can only delete it.

No it doesn't it changes to your default AVI aka the single letter that your name starts with. No one deleted your AVI manually it was done as a result of a rollback that was intended to fix the images & attachments issue.
