My father has two motorcycles, one is a Suzuki TU250X that sits in the garage unused because there is a problem with the suspension or something and instead of fixing it he bought a larger more powerful Harley-Davidson. The reviews for the Suzuki are very positive and said to be fun to ride.
My 17th birthday is coming up soon. Since an entire motorcycle is too large of a gift to ask for outright, when me and my father take our old couch to the dump (it is on the 2nd story and we will be throwing it onto the driveway) I will ask him to get me a driver's license manual for me to study and finally learn to drive. I will then allude something about motorcycles.
Having transportation would increase my quality of life greatly so its not like I don't want it.
However, I fear women would see it and think OMG MOTORCYCLE CHAD and only like me because it seems cool.

I have a ktm duke 890R and it helps me cope. My next one will be a ktm superduke 1290r. You can say it is a small halo, but for some women it can also be a failo. If you are going to ride motorcycles, do it because you want to and not to show off or to get girls. It should be a hobby and it is dangerous, not because of your driving skills but because of idiots on the road. I've had close calls while driving in the city but idc tbh, it helps me cope and I like it.
