Look at this picture. It's a study showing the effect of very high levels of IGF-1, approximately 0.24 mg/kg. Just as a reference, a normal child produces about 0.05 mg/kg of IGF-1. After six years, no, no noticeable bone changes with the naked eye from the frontal side. All we see is fat under the chin, very large nasal enlargement, and strange soft tissue enlargement. No prominent cheekbones, no wide lower jaw, just a fish-like face due to the soft tissue enlargement
