Imagine this. What if 5 years ago your entire body was scanned into a computer and then did a perfect extrapolation of reality up to this point and then printed your current self out of a bunch of random atoms. Would this "copy" actually be you? Now think about this, how is this any different than what you are now? You are a bunch of random atoms that identifies itself with a being that was a bunch of different random atoms 5 years ago. From a practical perspective these two outcomes are identical.

It's only you if your stream of consciousness is not interrupted. The human body already is constantly replacing pieces.

If you just make a copy and destroy the original, that isn't you, that's an identical copy.
