If PSL 4 is the mean, PSL 5 puts you one standard deviation away from it, aka you are at the 68th percentile. PSL 6 puts you two standard deviations from the mean, aka the 95th percentile. And PSL 7 puts you three standard deviations from the mean, aka 99.7th percentile. Seems about right to me

I am not sure if PSL 4 would be an appropriate place to put the mean, because based on how people are rated here the average person seems to be a bit lower. I am open to potentially setting the mean to something like 3.5, while keeping the same rule of 1 point = 1 standard deviation

It's like 1 in 330 people, seems reasonable to me if you count everyone with potential to be PSL7. And the reason there aren't many in acting/modeling is because PSL 5-6 is already sufficient to be an actor/model and there are far more PSL 5-6 guys than PSL 7 guys

you think being in the 68th percentile lets say for men of 18 to 24 is enough to be actor or model?
you have no idea how ugly average people are , only the top 5 percent would be rated psl 5 here

PSL "normie" isn't "average" within a population, more like average within people who are active in the dating market.
