I have a positive bias when I open my eyes, but when I stare, the bias becomes neutral/negative. Why?

Sense you didn’t provide an example I’m gonna go off my imagination but I would assume that it’s because when you squint your eyes you push the skin or hooding from your brow ridge and frontal bone forward most likely covering the upper corner of your eye making it appear “flat”
i have positive Kanthal tilt when iam I narrow my eyes becomes negative tilt
