A question for Surgerymaxxers / Genioplasty

Hi guys , I finally saved some money, and hopefully in a year could afford a genioplasty. Whoever has an experience with a genioplasty and overall cosmetic surgeries, could you tell me if such result is realistic ? I think it's definitely more than 6mm , and I don't know if an advancement more than that is possible solely with a genioplasty :/ . However I'm ready to hear some advice : First picture is my biometric picture, second one is the minimal advancement I want.

I thought about it as well, I might need a bimax or a genioplasty with additional implants.

I think genio can lenghten your chin but you jaw wont gain any width from it

Yes you're right , on the second picture it looks like as if the ramus got longer as well. This could be definitely be obtained with a wraparound implant for the mandible body.

I'm studying right now. And I really don't have time for two jobs , I come everyday at 6PM and then work till 8 PM and the study additionally till 1AM , but it's my fault why I have to do so much this semester. Thank you still.

You look fine, I don't think surgery will make any meaningful impact in your life. But I would suggest trying fillers first before you commit to surgery.

It's an unknown, but I want to try at least. I was always worried about the fact that fillers aren't permanent but maybe the price is much better in the end. Thank you.

genioplasty is mostly useful for projection, the kind of result you want is achieved through bsso or chin wing osteotomy.

Chin wing would have been ideal , but I can't find anyone, who performs it in Germany

The thing is , that my jaw isn't even weak , but the lower gonial angle makes the lower third appear shorter. Also bad my gonions aren't flaring outside, which makes my face look even more "roundish"

huh? aren't you OP? why are you referring to yourself in third person? anyways I'm gonna get a genioplasty too. I have a good jaw but very bad overbite and I see no other solution but surgery

genio will not make your entire lower jaw bigger like that. imo the chin height in the after looks kind of uncanny. your problem is mainly your overall wide look, but its not ugly per se. imo you would benefit more from working out your neck so that it matches your gonions width

Your problem is that your entire face is super compressed and compacted and wide. Which, contrary to what some layman kids here might think, is AWFUL for male aesthetics.

A genioplasty isn't doing shit.

You need a TON of zygo shaving.

Bimax is the best option for you. Downgrafting with a slight vertical genio should fix your short face. You could consider zygo reduction afterward if you still aren’t happy.

I don’t think your short face is that bad tbh. You aren’t ugly and I remember some user ran a tinder experiment where you slayed. So it’s not like you need surgery to have a normal life or anything.

Yes. Not all surgeons are good with short faces. You can’t get too much linear movement or you will look like a chimp.

Idk. But I wouldn’t get just genio if I were you. Waste of money.
