The invader is a random. He comes into the house, the boy picks up his gun. The mother attempts to take it from him, but as she does so, prevents him from using it. As they fight for control of it, the invader shoots the boy, but leaves the mother.

I think your story shows a deeper meaning. Maybe the boy is trying to protect his home, but the mother doesn’t want him to use violence. Because of that, they lose time, and the danger wins. It feels like a message about how sometimes, people who want to help can also stop us from doing what needs to be done.

Not related to the story but I wish they had some cam particularly for beautiful women in sports,especially white women.
I wasn't expecting to see so many beautiful white women in the ongoing Test series between India and England

That’s an interesting interpretation, but it’s not the perspective I follow.

I believe this story represents the permanence of fate. The woman attempts to prevent the inevitable; that is, the death of her son and the loss of her home. And, in doing so, she simply reifies it and projects the responsibility unto herself. It reminds me of the story ‘Death in Samarkand’
