Bonesmashing DOES work. But here's the information you need to know for what to expect. Before we begin with the science, a clear example of bonesmashing working is androgenic. While of course the hormones he took play a huge part in his progress, it doesn't mean you cant gain progress without them. It just means, it'll be slower.
But why are results so limited? It comes down to the bone composition of your facial bones. It is composed of trabclear bone and cortical bone. Trabclear is very responsive and metabolically active, while cortical isn't. And when cortical gets damaged, it just reapirs to it's original condition.
And the second thing to keep in mind is, bone must be hit over a certain threshold for remodeling to even occur. It comes down to frosts law, wont be getting much into it here.
Now since this thread is small, i won't go into detail of the ratios of trabclear and cortical bone but bonesmashing works on these bones well enough if you hit hard enough:
chin and zygos
brow ridge and gonions are not ideal due to the ratios of cortical to trabclear but u can gain slight progress here too if ur on hormones. otherwise dont waste ur time.
also reminder: bonesmashing will lead to premature ossification of your sutures in areas where u hit
also for those who androgenic took pth analogs, he didn't. he only mentions them in his course. and im not sure if he took hdac inhibitors.
