A story of rejection and the unexpected friendship that followed

so i was sitting in the park today and there were these two girls on the bench next to me after about 10 minutes i stood up to leave

and right then this short but super confident guy obese with a buzz cut walked up and asked for one of the girls instagrams the girl

looked at her friend then turned and saw me watching i quickly looked away and acted like i was walking off but i could still hear them

she actually compared the guy to me and said why would i look at you when there is someone like this right here i have no clue why

she used me as a comparison but judging by her style i guess i might be her type or something anyway she told the guy i think you

should just go home and he just went my bad have a good day the girls laughed and just kept going i know this sounds weird as hell

but i ended up following the guy for like 15 minutes just to see what he would do he went into a shop grabbed three tall boy red

tuborgs and a bag of ketchup ruffles and headed down to the waterfront to sit for some reason i felt like talking to him so i went up

and asked for a smoke i said bro werent you the guy who just tried to pull those girls ig honestly respect man i couldnt have done that

he gave a little smirk and said man you were right there you saw exactly how it went down i was like yeah youre right my bad that was

a stupid question we ended up chilling and talking about random stuff like why he even tries that approach and just life in general

before i left i gave him my instagram in case he ever needs help with girls wants to get out more or just wants to work on himself

honestly helping people out like this is starting to make me really happy i know some of you are gonna just jfl or call this a larp but i just felt like sharing it here
