If you cut off all food intake for <96h no muscle loss will occur. You will lose water weight, glycogen, and fat (unless you are very low bf% already).
If you cut off water for 96 h you will most likely die.
There may be some autophagy related benefits.
GH boost increases is a complete utter cope and has to do with FFA mobilization and oxidation.
If you wanna lose weight, you can achieve same thing with caloric deficit.

This is not rocket science

I learned that growth hormone increases lipolysis. Am I wrong or what
Or are you just referring to the mobilization of free fatty acids to the liver for beta oxidation
 
You are correct. GH is NOT anabolic.
 
I meant cope. You need not cut water for any potential health-related benefits unless you wanna commit suicide.

It says that the 5 day fast resulted in a significant increase in GH pulse. Which you said is cope.

What? GH stimulates amino acid uptake and increases muscle mass. At least that's what I learned
