These are animal studies, the results have not been proven in humans yet.
I'm also not claiming that this works, this thread is for science-literate investigators.

Supplement with Myo-Inositol (vitamin B8) in development to enhance mandibular endochondral growth!?

What works in rabbits (or mice) doesn’t automatically work in humans all the time. Bone growth timing, cartilage biology and metabolism all differ bw species.

I don’t think it’s applicable to humans

In the first study:

The 4.5% increase in the length of the mandible is very decent but rabbits biologically arent that similar to humans (water). Their control group was fed the diet from 6th until 25th week of their life which would be feeding kids a diet high in vitamin B8 from 1st year of their life until the 12th or 14th year of their life

They fed the group a diet with 66g of myo-inositol per kg of bw which would mean stuffing your 10yo kid with 2 kilograms of myo-inositol supplement every day jfl

The second study dnr but I skimmed thru and it’s conclusion is prob refutable with the same arguments and it’s from 2019 so if there has been no improvements or barely any interest in 6 years then it’s most likely a dead end

Might be wrong tho so correct me if I’m wrong bhais
