Some people are unlucky. Obviously, surgeons don't make it a habit to botch clients since that's bad for business.

But if you are choosing not to get surgery because you are afraid of getting botched then you're a dumbass. Most people here are ugly anyway so not like getting botched will do much. You will just be slightly uglier

oh 100% but since surgeons can get away with this they're also likely to be money grubbing and agree to surgery even if they know there's a very high risk of a bad outcome.

I mean unfortunately you can't just go and permaban every surgeon who botches people otherwise we'd have literally 0 surgeons, but it's still just insane what they can get away with.

Yeah doctors should just do whatever the fuck the patient wants and make them go partially blind, there's no problem with them botching surgeries, he should have known that the reputable surgeon he was paying tens of thousands was just gonna botch him because he chose the wrong surgeries.

I kind of get your point, but if it's as risky as you're making it sound, it shouldn't be done, and I doubt taban warned him beyond making him sign a 1000 page document saying he can't do anything if he blinds him and steals his liver.

It is not the patients job to be the expert, it's the doctor's. Therefore it is the doctor's fault when he fulfills a "ridiculous request" and maims a patient.

Dr. Taban may have bad bedside manner, but he isn’t a scammer. There’s something that doesn’t add up in Frank’s side of the story, he says that he’s “blind” (meaning almost blind) and he talks about driving for hours to see other surgeons in New York. How can he drive if he has poor eyesight?
