i remember when i was applying for a course i had a “discussion” with one of the teachers. she was an old lady

i was nervous and shy and stuttered. a few minutes later she said “do you have a problem?”

i said no

she said “it seems like you have an issue with your mind. you don’t seem all that sharp… are you sure you’re not eligible for disability requirements?”

i was shocked at the nerve of her to say that. i was still polite but I ended the conversation as soon as i could. i told her i don’t want to join the course

it felt humiliating :/
