Record yourself when doing an exercise. Form is super important, not so much for building muscles but rather to avoid postural issues. Recording yourself is the only way to make sure you are not overcompensating and making the wrong movements
I know it can be cringe in a public gym but if you train at home definitely do it, and if you don't try to go at times where the gym isn't packed, if you really feel embarassed (nobody gaf anyways so you really shouldn't worry)
