There are 3 layers to your body

First you have the skin which wraps everything around

Then fat, then muscle.
---------------------------------

Controlling your bodyfat

-The entire point of fat is to create a replacement for food to survive when your lacking food. Heres how it works:

-When your body detects low food/energy intake, your body will use fat/muscle as a replacement for the food.

-Because we live in a modern society with an abdunce of food, most people have way more bodyfat then they need.

-When your body detects excess food'/energy intake, your body will gain fat/muscle as a way to store the extra food for later use,

so incase you do have a low food intake, you have a backup food source (Your fat).

-------------------------

-Musclemass
-------------------------------------

-When your body detects stress AKA exercise to a given muscle group, it strengthens and enlarges that muscle group to adapt to that stress.

Lifting weights is a modern way to signal your whole body to build muscle. You can do this using a structued program with good form and intensity

do ya research

-When your body detects less stress, your body will start losing muscle because you litterally don't need it anymore and it is a waste to your body.

-Muscle takes a-lot of energy/food to maintain, this is why your body will lose muscle if less stress/adaptation is applied.

-Muscle is also a better energy source than fat, this is why you need to do careful training to convince your body it needs to hold onto muscle.
-------------------------------------

Getting lean:
----------------------

Three things

1: You need to eat below your caloric maintaince, the reason for this is because you have to eat low enough to give your body no choice but to reduce fatmass

also, exogenous/real food is obviously better energy source, than bodyfat,

because of this its best to not go past a 700 calorie deficit to priotize muscle retention, body and hormonal function, and willpower.

If your eating too low, your body will really wanna do everything it can to lower the amount of energy you need

this means lowering your physical activity and exercertion in the gym, lowering your hormone prodcution, lowering your musclemass, this reduces the amount of food you need so your body can yk survive and priotize essential functions.

However, if you eat just enough calories stick no more than 700 below maintence so you can lose fat and your body wont be too stressed because your still getting an adequate food intake for hormonal and bodily functions

2: You need to lift weights on a structured intense program, the reason for this is because muscle is a better energy/food source than fat,

so if your at a low food intake, body WANTS to get rid of muscle by any means neccesarry,

but if you lift weights hard and smart enough, your applying so much "stress" on your muscle that your body feels it has no choice but to hold onto it to survive,

instead, your body ONLY loses fat.

If you have enough bodyfat, your body can use the energy from bodyfat to build lean muscle, however once you get to a certain point this stops working because you dont have enough bodyfat to use as energy, as your body will prioritize other functions.

3: You need to eat 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight.

this helps with muscle protein synthesis and muscle retention .
-------------------------------------

Bulking up

--------------------

Gaining muscle:

Again, lift weights intense on a structured program

when you lift weights intensely and smart,

your body will be tricked into thinking it needs extra muscle to survive, this means your body will build new muscle tissue as a response

If you progessively overload, your keeping that stress consistent,

if you stay at the same weight/reps, your body will be like "Okay this is easy now,, lets maintain this amount of muscle because there is no stress/reason to add more."

BUt if you add weight with the same reps, your maintaining that pressure to gain muscle, even with your new strength gained, by maintaining that tension,

Eat 200 above your caloric maintence, heres why you need to bulk:

-WHen your building new lean muscle, and your atleast decently lean,

-your body litterally has no energy to use to build new tissue, this is because building muscle is a process that your body needs energy to do

-If you eat at maintence, you will maintain your weight/musclemass because

your body litterally has no extra food source to use to put new tissue on your body,

your body JUST HAS enough for its bodily functions,

unless your really new and on test, in which your body will really prioritize muscle building,

but this goes away quickly and

your body will really wanna prioritize its neccesarry functions if your only giving it a limited food intake to do so

-When you get more advanced, your body will be more resistant to put on muscle and rather priotize other bodily functions, if you eat excess food, your body will have enough for both muscle building and bodily functions, thus priotizing both.

-------------

Minimizing fat gain:
-----------------------------

1: Lift intense,

if you dont lift intense enough, your body litterally wont have a pressure, reason to put on muscle,

it doesnt need to adapt, why tf would it grow theres no stress being applied

-so then you will gain fat instead of muscle because there will be a weak signal for your body to use food for muscle building

2: Eat only 200 caloric slurplus unless ur on test

Building muscle takes time and energy, because of this, your body is limited to litterally building only so much muscle at once

-If you eat more than this, your body will store it as fat because it now has enough energy for muscle,

so any energy is excess and may aswell be used incase of later need.

-You will gain fat, but not enough to make you ugly by the end of your bulk.

---------------------------

The face

Your face doesn't contain any significant muscle, and not any significant muscle thats designed to grow.

Because of this, your leaness will effect your face, not musclemass, your muscle makes your body look leaner by stretching out the fat and pushing the layer up, but this doesn't effect your face because the facial bones are seperated by the neck, this means any muscle you gain will not spread your facefat out.

To lose facefat the same principles apply, like if your body needs more food it will take the fat off your face to use for food.
The importance hormones:

When your body has more, testosterone, thats basically an evolutionary trigger to become more masculine and to have a high reproductive success and be a good protector

This supports building muscle, probaly to fight off other attackers and protect yo bitch and shit like that.

If you have high testosterone, your body will support muscle building process and fatloss process much easier,

If you have low testosterone, your body will be resistant to building muscle:
-------------

EXAMPLE:
I trained with low testoerone,

the last time I checked it it was 280ng/dl this was right before my major gym break

my bench went from 85-115 pounds in one year

I had to really dirty bulk from may 2024-Febuary 2024 and abuse leverages just to get an 150lbs bench,

I went from 120-185lbs at 5,7 40 percent bodyfat.

I had to throw up regulary and intesnely forcefeed myself and became sub5

And im 6,0 now so no manlet comments.

-

And I was basically stuck with a skinnyfat physique

My BEST friend, who started 2 months later, ended up doing the same dirty bulk eating the same exact foods from the same exact brands and would go with eachother everyday and usually facetime our meals

sometimes shop together, we lived 5 minutes away.

he went from 120-195lbs

His bench was 185lbs, and thats pretty bad but
------------------

You can increase your testosterone with the use of exogenous hormones,

You can build a great physique with only 250mg a week.

Oh, and if your bulking you can eat way more since it will go to muscle, this is because the muscle building process speeds up as testosterone massively aids.
