See you’re talking about recent history not nature, and the reverence of virginity/whore shaming is cultural but also purposeful

Basically all of the “oppression” of women in history was for the purpose of societal cohesion shrouded in myth/religion until people forgot why it was there and attributed it just to those outdated myths, which is why we have the current state of modern feminism/hypergamy.
