Age as in the amount of time an organism has existed is a nonsensical measurement that doesn't directly tell you anything.
When we say somone "looks old" we really mean he looks very damaged. All the classic signs of "age" that we notice like wrinkles or hair loss are just signs of accumulated biological damage. This is clearly visible on the fact that there are some "young" people with hair loss or grey hair or wrinkles and some "old" people without them.
So while there is a clear correlation between age and biological damage, age is not the cause.
Death follows the same principle. Living organisms aren't "hard-wired to die". There is no such thing as "death by old age". Death is always a failure of a specific part of the organism due to it being damaged.
Of course that doesn't mean death is unnatural or that it can or should be avoided. Even in perfectly natural environment, damage is unavoidable, since you have to work to obtain food and survive, or fight off predators.
Different species have evolved to whistand different amounts of biological damage, some dying very fast and others living forever like some jellyfish. But one thing they all have in common is dying before or soon after they become infertile. Except for humans.
There is no natural reason for an unfertile organism to exist and consume the limited resources of other organisms without any potential to use them productively (for having children). So each organism evolved to whistand only as much damage as it needs to reproduce. And then it just dies, so it does't compete with other fertile organisms.
The more infertile organisms there are, the more unnatural and unhealthy the polulation is. This causes birth rate to go down, through suboptimal environment. And that's exactly what we're seeing today. As humans live longer and longer less and less children are being born. And the most children are born in areas where humans live the shortest.
This is a natural self-regulation mechanism. It limits the growth of unhealthy and infertile populations like japan or scandinavia. And promotes growth of healthy fertile populations like africa.
This is japan vs nigeria. As you can see the average woman in japan is past menopause meaning infertile and DEAD by natural standards.
Many people today are dead by natural standards even tho they are "alive".
Too biologically damaged to survive in nature = dead.
Too weak = dead.
Infertile = dead.
Many countries today especially japan are countries of dead people. They are absolutely deeply disgusting and pathological. No wonder they are all depressed and mentally ill.
NO PERSON IN NIGERIA EVER COMPLAINED ABOUT BEING "DEPRESSED".
