About beard growth and style

I have an question, i rocked clean shaved for the past 8 months, which works but i look like 16 (im 19 almost 20), before that i had a goatee but i was asked if im a turk once, thats the day i shaved it after 3 years now i have been blessed with good beard growth but im missing some spots under my chin, should i keepcleanshaven or maybe go for like a 3 day beard?
