So, as you might know intermittent fasting increases hgh which could in turn increase your height (if your growth plates aren't closed). But fasting also decreases igf-1 which is crucial for growth. To combat this, YOU NEED TO EAT HIGH GI FOODS when not fasting. I haven't seen anyone talk about this before even though I think it's water. Ideally you would fast 16-18 hours and in the time period you have to eat, eat foods like white bread, white potatoes, white rice, rice crackers and so on, BUT don't only eat these types of foods you still need to have a balanced diet.
