If put ur phone 6 feet away from u and take a picture using a timer, would the image still be somewhat distorted or would it be considered accurate to how people view u in real life?

Apparently it's a lot less distorted if you do it from a distance (IDK if it's mirror accurate though)

if ur not happy with how u look the chances are lens distortion isn't gonna fix ur problem.

Astrophysics teaches you plenty about lenses. Ever heard of le telescope, son?
If u know than just tell me if the image is still distorted no matter the distance because of the nature of the phone lens

Every camera is a projection plus a chain of processing, so you will never get a perfect window, but lens distortion doesn’t really exist anymore in phones. What you’re describing is just the perspective distortion from wide angles which is just what happens in normal geometry not something to do with the lens’s reading.

Step back and zoom in slightly using 2x/3x and you’ll be as accurate as can be.
