About long-term use of glucosamin and msm

I have been using glucosamine and msm regularly for about 2 months,
my height in the morning is 5'11
before glucosamine it used to drop to 5'10 during the day
now my height during the day is 5'10.75

my question is: does long term use of glucosamine and msm, for example more than 2 months, cause any reaction or side effects in the body?
how long can I use this supplement safely?
