I have used tret for 6 months now I will tell you that it does clear acne but I still have post inflammatory erythema.
Get accutane if u can.

Purging in first 4-8 weeks I also burned my face.

make sure you use suncream daily if using either, else you may get permenant hyperpigmentation etc
