chances of this happening is cosmically rare. he told me how he spent entry day in water park and i said "didn't you turn into Younes (dont know English name, it's that prophet who got eaten by whale) when he came out of whale?" he was shocked as his name was younes and i met him like 5 min ago.

i refuse to believe this was coincidence, some telepathy shit was happening indeed.

I can always guess when a guy is named Tyrone or Pajeet. Don't ask me how though.

This is interesting considering the specific context and conversation you had...
I couldn't help but dive into the probabilities of such an encounter.

Firstly, let's talk about the name 'Younes'. In Iran, the likelihood of someone being named Younes is about 1 in 40,000. This statistic already shows the encounter is unlikely. But the real intrigue lies in the additional layers of coincidence.

You met this person at a water park. Now, estimating the number of people who visit water parks in Iran isn't straightforward, but let's make an educated guess. Suppose, for simplicity, that 1 in 1,000 people in Iran might be at a water park on any given day. This is a conservative estimate, considering factors like the popularity of such parks, seasonal variations, and daily attendance fluctuations.

Then, there's the aspect of your conversation. Discussing a prophet, specifically one known for being swallowed by a whale (like Jonah or Younes), is not an everyday topic. To put a number on this, let's hypothesize that the chance of this particular story coming up in a random conversation is around 1 in 10,000. This probability is admittedly speculative and could vary greatly based on cultural context, individual interests, and the natural flow of conversation.

When we combine these probabilities, we're looking at a staggering level of rarity. The mathematical likelihood of all these factors - meeting someone named Younes, at a water park, and then discussing a prophet story relevant to his name - aligning in the way they did in your experience is approximately 1 in 400 billion.

So yeah, I think it's more likely that the guy wasn't actually named Younes and that he just made it up.
