I have self injected IM more than 500 times, never done this. But I always aspirate and I start by injecting just a small amount, then wait 40 seconds before injecting more. Do you not do these things?

I draw the syringe but this time I didn’t for some reason, literally forgot, I injected 0.2 ml and then remembered I needed to draw it, I immediately took it out once I saw the blood come in
