Most recent study of isotretinoin, IIRC, showed that it did not inhibit growth in the patients that took it. They were actually taller than the patients who didn't take isotretinoin. That doesn't mean it's going to make you taller, rather evidence, not proof that it won't inhibit growth.

As an actual answer, I'm not well-versed in the most recent scientific literature regarding isotretinoin, but I'm aware a couple of studies linked it to deformed growth plates and early closure. However, if this was recommended by a dermatologist, I'd follow the advice or ask them directly about it.

However, as far as I know these were mere correlations, these studies did not fully determine whether they make you shorter or not, but apparently they MIGHT.

I switched to 40 mg because my dermatologist told me so, I will take 40 mg for 3 months and then we will reduce the dosage, will it impact in my height?
