I'd say keep going and maybe switch to topical if oral doesn't work?

Here's a snippet:
Experiencing breakouts after 6 months of Accutane (isotretinoin) can happen. It often means the drug needs more time to fully suppress your oil glands, or your underlying hormone levels are triggering new activity. Sometimes, an extended course is required to reach long-term remission

Were you taking it with fat? Were you consistent? You do know at 20mg very day it takes close to 1 1/2 to 2 years right?

Consult w your doctor first but yeah up dosage probably. I have never used accutane so i'm not too experienced in the field but based on other comments i'd say go for it. Also looks like you're better looking than the average male, therefore you should not rope over this.

Yeah you probably still have a few more months, and everyoneโ€™s different, I think Iโ€™ve only been on for 3 or 4 months, and pretty much acne is gone except a few marks on my back. Everyoneโ€™s different, just do 20 until it goes away, thereโ€™s no reason why it shouldnโ€™t work.

Ohhhh thought you did less. Higher dosage would clear it faster but increase likelihood of side effects like dry skin, chapped lips etc - causing you to descend instead

Alright well then wait it out and see if it clears up eventually. After 2 months i'd recommend consulting w your dermatologist and get a new recommendation for what to do next.

Idk for acne because i've never had a bad case of it, just occasional pimples abd maybe slight acne on my chin.

Personally i cleanse everyday (ginseng oil cleanse followed by cerave foaming cleanser)

I then use caffeine serum and retinol cream for eye support and somewhat fix my bags since my sleep schedule is horrid

I highly reccomend using a glow serum as it will make your skin look way smoother but i dont think it will help the acne at all - also a huge plus for pores is the ''Beauty of Joseon - red bean pore mask'' it works wonders

and then moisturize and spf everyday.

Goodluck and godspeed

I had to do multiple rounds over a few years. IDK what my total exposure was cuz of that but it's a lot more whatever their expectation is.
There's also a laser treatment you can try though end effect should be the same. It's aerolase, its totally painless w/ no downtime fairly cheap as far as laser treatments go.

After multiple rounds I was still getting acne on my back got sweaty outside. Did aerolase and it been gone for years.

My mum did aerolase she say that it is a waste of money and bad results

IG its for the same reason you're not haveing any luck w/ the accutane. Since the goal of both is to strink the sebatious glan.

Did she do multiple rounds? As most lasers need 3-5 treatments.

On the bright side, your skin is coping extremely well with healing the breakouts. Other people would be left with scarring at this point.

Is your acne bacterial or fungal? I'd go with combination therapy. Just continue isotretinoin if you can tolerate it, but start using azelaic acid and benzoyl peroxide topically. Your dermatologist could also consider topical antibiotic or antiandrogen.

Once you need to stop isotretinoin, just switch to topical retinoid like adapalene or retinaldehhyde.
