I’m on 10mg of Isotret (Accutane) low dose cause I have very low base acne anyway, so cause it’s low dose it’s low side effects.
But I am getting my very dry/cracked lips, to point where I am using lip balm multiple times an hour.
Anyone gotta good fix?

vaseline, ur lips will be always dry since you are on accutane, you are just sensitive to it

mark as a solution

yes but it’s roughly the same as lip balm which i already use no? it’s getting worse each day and im having to re apply more often each day now it’s multiple times per hour, is there no other fix?

Aloe vera vaseline was the only thing that helped me, it literally makes it feel like theres always a thin layer of water on ur lips

Yea, you will most likely have to wait this one out. As the acne decreases so will your dry lips

fair enough, my duration is only 2 months cause i have a good starting point, but people who take it for a year have a fully year of cracked lips? i would have assumed there’s a fix for it bcs most people take it for much longer than just 2 months

Well you can use vaseline but you have to be consistant and not scrach or bite your lips at any cost. But unles your gonna be kissing or making out they shouldnt be souch a problem
