Accutane for nose shrinking

Im gonna start using 20mg isotret today will it be enough to shrink my nose i have a very oily nose w big pores my main goal is to nuke the sebacious glands and also get rid of some minor acne/pimples on my skin surprisingly i got the isotret from a dermatologist even tho i dont have much acne but the problem is i dont know how long he'll keep prescribing the isotret, i'm guessing 3-4 months. My ALT is 27 a lil above the reference range should i use nac for liver supp or is it not needed at 20mg. So will 20mg for 3-4 months help w shrinking my nose

initially yes if your nose is massive because of trapped oil+pores. once your off accutane (assuming your not done with a standard course) its likely to come back.

I have a large, bulbous nose tip (5cm in width after MSE) with overactive pores (seborrhea). Accutane at 20 mg made it a bit slimmer for a while, but after a year of use, the size came back in no time, only my lips and eyes stayed permanently drier.

IF u have visible huge pores then yes it will make a big fucking difference although im not sure how much of it will be maintained after you hop off. Also as i have heard if taken at a high enough dose for prolonged periods it will also cause skin thinning so that might also help.

What if i use it for 5+ months?

you need to complete a standard dose, 5 months dosnt matter if it dosnt hit ur target mg. if you want drop ur body weight and ill give u a estimated course duration + dosage

you need to hit 8,000-10,000 mg total so
around 30mg/day for 8 months or 50mg/day for 5-6 months
note that ur nose glands might be sensitive and close early but thats just a standard formula

Accutane shouldn't be taken without a medical prescription or for such a stupid reason as reducing the size of your nose. It's a dangerous systemic drug that will also prevent you from wiping your own ass.

Ye i know i got a medical prescription for it but only for a low dose of 20mg and she was prolly gonna give it for like 4 months or smt but i left that doctor so im on my own im gonna use 20mg everyday until my pores get to my desired size basically invisible and than gonna use a maintanence dose of 20mg eod

Why not hc is it better also i have rosacea on my nose and a bit on my cheeks its probably papulopustular but i dunno have had it for a year or smt now
