Accutane help

Hey, tell me what I should do. I've been on Accutane for almost 6 months now at 40 mg a day, and I’ve already reached my cumulative dose of 120 mg/kg. My dermatologist says I can either finish now since I only have about 8 pills left, or continue for another 2 months to reach 150 mg/kg. I have no idea what to do because summer can be bad.

ur acne is still bad dont stop now keep going and for summer just use sunscreen with spf 50+ and you should be good (avoid going a lot outside)

tbh idk much about accutane but I have a friend who used it for more than 6 months probably 8-12 months and that's how much it took for him to get rid of it but now he has like no acne and that was 6 months-1 year ago his acne was way worse than yours tho

How was the sun for him??

idk but i remember he had like a lot of dead skin or whatever on his face (idk what its called sry) hes also like white asf and cant tan because he just turns red af and is very sensitive to the sun so his response might be very different compared to yours. that's all i can remember like his skin was peeling or something and idk if it was bc of the sun. sry i dont rly remember much but ik ur supposed to watch out if its sunny outside so just like another dude said its probably best for u to use sunscreen and maybe ask ur dermatologist abt it
