accutane help

Hi I did accutane for 8 months at first 20 mg a day for one month than for around six months 40mg per day but i didnt stop yet because i still got acne and new pimples so I did 2 more months 60 mg and 40 mg alternately until 150mg/kg over cumulative dosage.My skin isnt clear yet but its much better than it was I didnt experience no side effects such as dry lips or joint pain. I hope it didnt affect my growth beacause I am 16 and i did grow 4 cm at this time and but now I have acne scars and I dont know what should I use for it my derm prescribed me adapalene is it good?

Adapalene is fine but I’d just stay on 5 or 10mg accutane daily for a very long time (few years at least). Or your skin will get worse again in a few months. Maybe not acne but at least more oily again.
