Accutane made my nose straighter and less bulbuous

i'm like 2 months away from my getting my childhood nose back (been on and off cuz my country has problems regulating accutane and iso)
I did it purely for acne but suprisingly it got my nose thinner (genuinely black african nose to nose normal)
so ig accutane nose job wasn't a lie

yes apparently it restores ur childhood nose if acne made it fat, but u def have a nose that's too thin so u didn't notice, btw how long did ur treatement last? i'm considering continuing till the one year mark

it depends on the dosage, not timing, u gotta do 130 to 150 mg per kg of bodyweight for a full course

idk it was like 20-30mg daily for 3-5 months at a time lips were dry and cracking without lip balm and face was dry as shit without lotion

but this nose slimming effect could wear down over time after u stop taking accutane

if your lipids dont get fucked up and u dont have other major side effects, you can just microdose 5 mg a day for years and keep ur slimmed nose aftee that along w clear ski

keep in mind, this is recommended by doctors when people still get acne after the 1st full course so it could work for maintaining the nose slimming forever but u still have to keep an eye on the potential sides although they are rare at such a microdosage

I saw many people get rid of acne with low dossages, epecially in mild cases, I currently have mostly camedones, but my nose got more bulbous after starting puberty+lots of blackheads! Maybe 20mg is better?

I already have fucked lipids naturally, but before getting on accutane I wanna get on a pcsk9 inhibitor(for mogger lipid profile)+udca(for liver), so I don't see why it would be bad in my case! I want to microdose it as I had very big problems with super dry lips and getting over 20mg would prob destroy my lips

dry lips is a very common side since accutane is literally supposed to do that, so will still be a problem even at microdosage, wont be as severe as higher dosages though, so just use aquaphor in case but u wont have other major sides while microdosing

You need around 6800 mg for a whole course, just divide that into however many days and don't go below 5 mg everyday.

For example - 10 mg everyday for 680 days or 5 mg everyday for double the days

If only this happened to me my nose barley changed in size on Accutane but atleast my acne is mostly gone

And also hopping on accutane just for the shrinkage of nose would be right? I only have some closed comedones and some sebum in corners of nose and chin, I had mild acne 1 year ago but they are gone now just some comedones

Tret may work fine

I mean accutane is just "iso-tretinoin"

It's simply the oral form of the same chemical, so yeah actually that should be fine, just spam on your nose and it should permantly shrink and drain pores I suppose

i cant do 5 mg everyday , accutane is expensive here and lowkey i only live by 80 dollars a month , can i do 5 mg every other day ? like one day yes and other no and after yes , i am willing to add tret or differing in the routine if its not enough

Just use tret alone, 5 mg every other day is too low for your first course, you'd have to use it for years.
