accutane nose bleed

bro why does nobody talk about this side effect. dry lips and all that is easy to deal with but my nose legit bleeds like 2-3 times every day. stopping it is annoying too, sometimes takes 5 mins sometimes longer. rn im on 20mg ed. my nose is already sensitive so it bleeds easier than normal anyway but this is actually crazy. anybody got a fix for this or should i just stay on 20mg eod till the box is finished then drop back to 10mg? ever since i went up to 20 my nose has been bleeding every single day ngl

Pretty sure it’s common due to drying inside of your nose. Nothing says to lower the dose, mostly just moisturizing with aquaphor. There are other things you can do like an ice pack or smth but those are the Google things.

i have constant nose bleeds on accutane too but it's kinda fun icl, the lips are wayyyy more annoying

today i was out with a fine outfit and my nose started to bleed so bad all my pant and tshirt got stained. with a good lip moisturizer lips are ok i think you have to apply it once an hour.
