Accutane or Tretinoin for skin quality

I posted a thread earlier abt accutane vs tret but I think people were confused as to what i'm after

I have some acne but it's basically all inactive

The main thing I want to know is what's better between them when it comes to overall skin quality improvement

If you just have mild acne use tretinoin, tretinoin is better for overall long term skin quality.

Accutane is better for severe acne and clears all types of it, tretinoin can help with milde acne, but accutane has too many sides.
I guess if you have really bad acne Accutane is a much better option
