I stopped taking Accutane after 3 months because I couldn’t handle the side effects anymore.

My skin still feels irritated and my face looks really puffy. My nose looks red and is like 2x bigger because of the puffiness, my cheeks are swollen and red, and my jawline is barely visible now.

For people who had this too: How long did it take before the puffiness and skin irritation went away after stopping Accutane?

I’m worried it will stay like this forever.

ngl shouldve just lowered ur dose and stayed on it, all the results come after a purge where ur skin gets redder and more acne

Y’all, I wasn’t asking whether I should keep taking Accutane or not. I was asking when the puffiness usually goes away. Before Accutane, girls would look at me almost every day. Now I’m 3 months in on 40 mg and not a single girl even notices me anymore. Lowering the dose isn’t really an option since I’ve been on 40 mg the whole time, and honestly I just want at least most of this puffiness gone, not a portion. My acne wasn’t that severe to begin with.
