Yo guys, i’m 23 have been dealing with acne ever since after i turned 19 it’s been weird as fuck cause normally most deal with it in their teens it had just hit me in adult hood sadly.

Can anyone give me advice for accurate & what to expect i. the weeks- months when using it. What should i avoid doing & what i should be doing etc to maintain results

use for 3-6 months roughly 0.4-0.6mg/kg,adjust dose , use tons of moisturizers etc and ur good

i’ll just use 1 that’s very helpful for dry skin, cause heard it drys skin out a lot & lips.
I’m like 60kg yeh
I have moderate acne / resdness

should it clear all the redness aswell? cause i think that’s inflammation form the clogged pores just tbh

hm ye ig do like 20 or 30mg seems ideal for u

get artificial tears and use it minimum like 3x a day since you're gonna get giga raped by dry eyes (might be helpful to also use it a bit for a few weeks after you finish accutane and taper down in frequency before dropping it)
moisturiser like the other dude said about dry skin
and lots of lip balm since your lips are gonna get hit the hardest
nosebleeds can also happen so be prepared for that but not as common as aforementioned

expect a purging phase early on too

I think an important part of accutane is also taking it same time everyday. you should also eat a meal with around 15-20g of fat before or while taking it for better absorption.

you should do the basic bare minimum skincare too (gentle cleanser, moisturiser and lots of sunscreen) and avoid do anything else. after u finish ur accutane give likr 6 months before u do any external treatments like chemical peel, microneedling etc.
