Basically long story short, i have a brother that’s 2 years older than me, i’m 19. My height is 6,2, while he is only 5,10, given that our father is 6,1 and mother is 5,8. I believe he didn’t reach his full potential due to the fact that he took Accutane at 15-16 if i remember right, and i think that stunted his growth significantly. I too had bad skin at that age, but was cautious enough to avoid it during a growth spurt, also we both have been exercising our whole lives, so our sleep, nutrition and lifestyle wasn’t different. Even if some say that he got unlucky, i think Accutane played a role, i know other people have experienced it too. Basically that’s what i wanted to say, think of it however you want.

prolly just unlucky gene distribution, the accutane closing growth plate stuff is really uncertain

Accutane hasnt been shown to reduce final adult height by any meaningful amount, your brother was supposed to be 5'10.

Accutane doesn't permanently stunt growth. Some studies have show that teenagers might experience temporary slowing in growth speed while on it. Your growth patterns will start back up normally (if they were paused on Accutane) after dosage ends.

Growth plate closure connected to Accutane is pretty rare and almost only associated with high dose, or long therapy for completely different medical conditions like neuroblastoma.

So if it was Accutane, it was just unlucky for him and he probably was on a high dosage.

Or he reached his max height

he was on 80 mg i believe for an year, i remember that he lost his appetite and was kinda moody, i think he got stunted, and also was unlucky to get a bad height gene.
