Accutane stunting growth during puberty

I started roaccutane in november 2025-aug 26 , I’ve seen little to no height growth since taking it, does it stunt your growth during puberty?

as far as i know its only temporary

it wont affect your maxxed height

Started a little bit after I turned 16

I started a little bit after I turned 16, started on 20mg, after a few months it got highered to 30mg, my cycle is done after midway September so I’m slowly decreasing the dose(20mg, then 10mg)

can u check out my post i made rn about it and answer my question as someone whos using it, but yeah accutane probably stunted ur growth, but if you stop youll probably start growing again, but you lost a few cm of height for sure

crashes igf and speeds up closing of growth plates you should at least research what it does before hand. Most studies conclude that it doesnt effect final height unless taken for a long time (e.g. microdosing) or really high amounts of it

57kg on 30-20mg since November 2025, coming off it Ina month though. what’s your opinion ?

probably but no gurantee of how long, how much of it will return, and also the baseline risk of accutane, you have to run it for multiple months for acne to leave, during that time growth is halted, plates can fuse prematurely

yeah fucking 9 months of accutane so far, gonna probably have to get tests done to see how much it’s affected my growth so far, stupid fucking gp told my parents it has no affect on growth 🫩🫩

sometimes if you are already above average height, the absence of acne is such a looksmax the 1-2 inch is negligible
