I’ve just started my first cycle of accutane. Starting on 20mg. Can I go on sunbeds whilst on acccutsne? I’ve ordered mt1 but feel like I won’t get that noticeable results if I’m not getting uv,which if you live in the uk you know there is 0 atm. Since I’m starting on a lower dose, would I be okay to use sunbeds? Or would mt1 still work without much uv? Also any tips for my accutane cycle. There so many different information on dosing out there I have qiute moderate-severe acne and want the fastest results? What’s the best dose for this. Cheers guys have a good Saturday

If you give a shit about your skin health STAY THE FUCK AWAY from sunbeds and the sun in general, the "tan" is not worth damaging your skin, the sun is terrible for your skin, stay away from it permanently and wear sunscreen unless you want to age yourself and make your acne scars worse. If your acne is anything worse than mild you can take up to 60mg of isotretinoin, anything more is just overkill really, it's the dose that I take. Normally dermatologists advice against using tretinoin while on isotretinoin, but I'd argue against that, use it ,BUT make sure to very gradually up the usage, your skin will already be very sensitive from the isotretinoin. Start with 0.025% once a week for a couple of weeks, then twice and so on until you build up to daily use. Only up the concentration whenever you truly feel like your skin can handle it, you can also add in azelaic acid which would be great for you,but same as tretinoin, start slow and very slowly build up, don't rush this process, you ARE going to take care of your skin for the rest of your life are you not? Obviously don't introduce azelaic acid and tretinoin at the same time. Here's a routine for you which you can use for the rest of your life.

Morning: Cleanser (brand doesn't matter) -> moisturizer (brand doesn't matter, find one you like) -> azelaic acid (you can honestly start with 15% and stay at that) -> spf 50+ sunscreen (absolutely NOT negotiable, whether you're on isotretinoin or not, sunscreen is always a must)

Evening: Cleanser -> moisturizer -> tretinoin.

If you have any questions feel free to ask me here or send me a private message. :ppSmoke:

I’m also on accutane, the thing that I avoid the most now is the sun. If you want to go out and get some sunlight I recommend u use sunscreen based on the condition of your skin right now, if it’s really dry, sensitive and shit I would avoid it in any way👍
