Accutane

Got a doctors appointment in a week with the goal of getting prescribed accutane. Is it hard to get prescribed? 17yo in Canada. Ive had worse acne than most people since 13 and have bodily acne as well but definitely not the worst acne. Anything specific I should try and say? Done all the softmaxx copes and if I cant get script then I'll just buy it elsewhere but rather get from doc ofc

just tell him uve tried antibiotics as well, say its effecting ur mental health and just make it look worse. Try rubbing ur face really hard just before u go inside the room so that it looks more inflamed and red

brah i basically don’t even have any acne, maybe a few red spots and pimples here and there and ive never done any antibiotics or any of that shit and my doc still gave me accutane

for anyone who lurks this and curious about update: one question she asked was if ive already tried over the counter antibiotics in which i said no because idk shit about so cant really pretend and she prescribed clindamycin-tretinoin and said if it doesn't work then go to isotret or i think she said there was a step before that but wgaf. if your confident and have a story of what you tried and how it worked (research all the alternatives) then you would probably be fine. as for me ill smear shit on my face for a month and come back saying it didn't work so i dont waste my time with this shit.

tldr; have story about how other medications havnt been worked and be confident, as for me i didnt and got clindamycin-tretinoin.

Just get accutane from indiamart atp tret wouldn’t help for you from what it sounds like. I live in Canada too and I got it even though I don’t have severe acne but it still helps
