WTF u should be taking 40--80 mg daily till you reach a total of a 9,000--11,250 mg cumulative dose.

The standard dose is between 0.5 mg/1 body kg (minimum), 1mg/1kg (high), 1.5mg/1kg (max, very high).
So that would be 40 mg MINIMUM and 80 mg MAXIMUM.

9,000 mg total is the lower end to finish a full couese. 11,250 mg total is the higher end.

So if you did 40 mg daily, you finish your course in 8-9 months.

If you did 60 mg daily, you finish in 5-6 months.

If you did 80mg daily, you finish in 3.5-4.5 months.

This is all assuming you stay at 75kg during your course.

The higher the dose, the WORSE the side effects. However, you will NOT face hepatoxicity unless you already have like 100 different liver issues or large liver stress from other medication. 20mg accutane for a month is only 900 mg out of the 9,000 mg minimum.

you can do 20mg but it would take 15--18 months+ to finish a full course, and you have a high chance of relapsing only a few weeks after, forcing you into doing a second course

You can do 40mg, as I said, it'd take 8--9 months in total (depending on if u want lower end or higher end)

If you want to shorten it, do 40 mg for 4 months, then 60 mg for 2.3 months (70 days) to 3.6 months (108 days), which saves u 2 months. Again, this depends on whether u want the total lower dose or higher dose, which is based on ur acne. Severe acne needs higher cumulative dose (11,250 mg).

Also, if you gain weight, you need a longer course because there is more skin for the drug to target. If you lose weight, you get a shorter course (but stronger side effects).

You cant do anything alongside accutane because your skin becomes extremely sensitive.

If you do 80 mg prepare yourself for severe side effects in these few months. it would take around 113 to 141 days in total.

My advice to u is to do 1 month 40mg and 3.5 months 80mg. That way u ramp up instead of having severe side effects all at once, and u finish ur course in 4.5 months.
