Acne cream available at pharmacies.

My mom told me she bought me an acne cream to use before going to sleep, which she bought at the pharmacy. I wanted to know if these acne creams sold in pharmacies (without a prescription) actually work or if they don't do anything like most creams. I haven't seen which cream it is yet, so I can't tell you guys, but if I remember tomorrow I'll tell you the name of the cream.
