Acne routine and next step

Current routine:

AM: benzyolperoxide + clindamycin (antibiotic) gel
Sunscreen spf 50

PM: Adapalene

I wash my face just with cold water.
I'll give this routine 2-3 months to start working, if not I'll request oral isotretinoin.

Question:
- Does benzyol peroxide cause skin aging? Especially since it creates free radicals and I apply it in the morning, so I'll get some sun exposure during the day and Idk if the sunscreen is able to make for it up.

Gotta agree on that. Did the exact same shit as OP for 3 years and the results were very unsatisfactory. Accutane was a game changer for me and didn't cause any major side effects. I had mild-moderate acne btw.

Only side effect i got from blasting accutane was dry lips and skin, both easily fixed with moisturizer and chapstick, you just have utterly shit genetics, go to a doctor and get your microdick checked asap​

Its gonna work for the time I use it. But after I stop I will start getting acne back. Thats why i think its not worth. Unless you have cystic acne. If you had mild acne at start you will still get occasional pimples aftee you finish treatment and its not gonna be a huge improvement for the risks

Yes, it was the only thing that really worked and I tried pretty much every topical before. It also helped with complexion and anti-aging.

Do you still have oily skin?

Not really oily somewhat my forehead is kinda oily bust mostly it's rather dry from the tetinoin. I still have uneven colour of the skin tho and it seems like I have deep but small inflammation. It's not a pimple but it's a small amount of this disgusting white yellowish stuff, often very hard, deep under the skin

I would just stick with tretinoin then tbh, accutane doesn't have a huge effect on complexion especially if you already use tretinoin.

No, I didn't relapse. Of course i still get pimples sometimes and my skin isn't "perfect" but that's normal, even after accutane. Run 20mg for 10 months, a relapse after that is very unlikely.
