Acne Scars Budget method

TCA peels, Subcision, C02 Laser is S tier for acne scars, but they come at a huge $$$ cost. ( Was Quoted 15k) The best alternative for at home acne scar treatment is microneedling. You can get up & running for $250 and $50 per year after that.

A lot of people have bad experiences with microneedling because they used a cheap Temu pen or an overpriced Dr pen. I STRONGLY stand by Derminator 2; I have only done 6 sessions, in & my skin has changed with a 30% improvement.

Without getting to in depth with Derminator, they use very sharp high grade needles from europe not some cheap china crap. In addition, their machine is faster than your typical pen, which allows your skin to recover faster so you can do more sessions than your typical 3x per year at a med spa. Also, that med spa will probably charge you 4k per year.

The Routine
- Start off with 0.75mm to get used to the feeling; it does hurt, but no pain, no gain.
- For pitted moon craters, work your way up to 1.5 mm every 3 weeks. If 1 mm, you can do it every 10 days
- Vitamin C & GHK-CU topical AFTER 48 HOURS have passed; if you don't wait, you will burn your skin

Cons
- You will look like you got sunburned for like 3-5 days & need to stay out of the sun
- If you overdo it, you can get nerve damage; if you're not retartded this won't happen

Bonus tip
- Around day 7 is the sweet spot, & you can time it if you have an important date coming up. Your redness will be gone, but there will still be some inflammation, so your pitted holes will be raised & texture will be smooth.

- You can also use this machine to microneedle your scalp for hair growth.

That's like comparing a bike to a Formula 1 car. Not even close; may work if your skin is decent but for those with moon craters you need top of the line solutions

What was in the bundle? Is this to only treat your acne scars or to treat active acne first then treat acne scars afterwards? Even so, 15k is a crazy price.

Your skin has "craters" so why would microneedling so anything? Something like that cannot be compared to something as significant as CO2 laser or subscision as those both function in a way that microneedling cannot replicate.

I've been in your shoes before. I feel for you man.

It was for everything I mentioned. He was a top derm (Qazi). I do plan on getting subcsion but elsewhere in the coming months

This is strictly for acne scars, if I posted a picutre of my before everyone would say its over & to rope but the derminator 2 has brough my skin back to life.

I'll post before & after when I reach at least 50% improvement

Qazi is a hyped up dermatologist and is known to charge a hefty price so I suppose your initial quote is accurate. I’ve literally seen the dude on tiktok live lmao and I personally wouldn’t want my dermatologist to be on tiktok live on a friday night.

Yeah I was about to say, if there was one thing that you should do out of the bunch it should definitely be subscision. At least this way you would yield greater results using this at-home method.

You say you achieved 30% but that sounds like an exaggeration, especially if you haven’t had subscision or TCA cross yet to address the genuine tethered scars (“craters”).

This seems like an OK thing to do at the moment, though, you should be wagecucking to save up for the actual procedures.

Yeah, been reading around the acne scar subreddit, and he's definitely overcharging, he throws a lot into his marketing.

I know 30% sounds like cope, but Dermiantor 2 has a cult like following for good reason. It's not a run of the mill micro needle pen, they even have their own forum at https://www.owndoc.community/index.php?board=4.0 with tons of before & after pics.

Either way, my consult for subcision is next week.
