most of the results from Accutane will become apparent a couple months after you get off of it in my experience. My acne went away after 5 months of being on Accutane, and 3 months after that the acne scars started disappearing. to speed up healing scars and redness, i would use .05 Tazarotene or .1 Tretinoin. I've heard derma rolling is good but i dont have any personal experience with that.
I'm not taking accutane rn but i was thinking about doing it in case it helps with the scarring. I've been on tretinoin for 5/6 months but I don't see any results

if your over 16 id just get on accutane if its available to you. i purged like crazy so if ur willing to risk suffering for 3-5 months for perfect skin go for it
I no longer have acne, just scars, would I still have the purging phase? tretinoin for example did not have a purging effect on me
I took doxycycline before Accutane and i still purged. I wouldn't take it in ur situation and if i did i would low dose. theirs tbh no way of knowing if u will purge on it but theirs only ways to lower risk of purging
Try .05 Tazarotene if u can get it its stronger then tretinoin especially in terms of scarring
