I was going to make a separate thread about her, but I’ll just post here because I’m curious. She was 5’8” at 18 and supposedly over 6”’at 20. I’m wondering why her condition which overproduces GH and consequently leads to high IGF-1 levels made her grow at a bone age where she should have stopped long ago.
Is it likely she had hypogonadism as a result of her condition and thus delayed bone age due to estrogen deficiency? If this is the case, why did her symptoms only start getting noticeably worse after 18? If anyone could provide insight, I’d greatly appreciate it.
