I liked Click (saw it in theatres), Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and The Waterboy when I was 12-14 years old, but then I saw this one in theatres:

and then I was disappointed and thought it was fairly mediocre.

I'm still not sure if I outgrew Adam Sandler movies in 2008 or if they just became bad eventually. I'd need to try watching Happy Gilmore or something again.

I think he was more like an MTN from 1994-2007 (and probably in his early 20s too), but with a very low appeal pheno in today's world.

He's definitely a full-blown oldcel in recent years though. Speaking of which, his performance in Uncut Gems was unironically very good. Probably the performance of his lifetime in terms of pure quality, not monetary success.
