adapalene vs tretinoin for acne

went to derm and this fag told me to take antibiotics and obviously nothing changed. Wasted 100$ jfl
Anyone had experience with both? Do i need to take anything else with one of them except moisturizer?

Both work the same, docs say adapalene is safer, but both worked identically for me. Ended up with tret, cuz tret is like 15$, while adapalene was 250$

oh wow, i can find adapalene for 8$, tho it is from egypt and idk about quality. What was your routine?

I'm doing tret and this shit legit cured my acne.
Tret routine usually goes:
AM: Water cleanse, moisturize, sunscreen
PM: Gentle cleanser, Tret, deep moisturizer (I use the LRP cicoplast balm)
The only thing with tret is that you need to use hella sunscreen and increase frequency super slowly.

There is legend that tret destroys fat pads, did u notice anything? What % are u using?

Honestly I do feel like my face is leaner but it might just be age and more hydration, currently only using 0.025% cream.
