Adapalene vs tretinoin

Hello, I’m currently deciding between Adapalene and Tretinoin. Getting Tretinoin is a bit harder for me because dermatologists in Germany don't prescribe it easily, especially to 16-year-olds. They are much more likely to give me Adapalene. Is it worth the effort to push for Tretinoin, or is the difference between them not that big? Does anyone here have experience with Adapalene and can tell me if it actually helps? If so, how significant is the effect, and how long does it take with consistent use to see results?

adapalene is godlike for my skin, imo the best part of it is that it lessens the redness making the acne less apparent right from the start

i still have a few zits popping out here and there and adapalene has always been my go-to to get rid of them, usually takes 2 days to heal with it

meanwhile tretinoin and acids made my skin more irritated so aesthetically the acne got worse before healing up

ive used adapalene but not tret, for me adapalene was great and did what i expected it to. if you can get tret do so, but you dont have to go too far out of the way to get tret id say.

Stop Chasing Tretinoin nigga its a waste of time u wont get it anyways because of ur dermatologists
So use Adapalene 0.1% it gives the same results as tret 0.025% also tret can cause redness unlike Adapalene that only targets RAR b and RAR y
So adapalene could actually be better than tret
In mu case i use both
